ALTSEAN’s 7 Thematic Trackers collate information on events occurring in Burma as a result of the military’s illegal coup beginning on 1 February 2021.

The trackers are generated with information from all areas, including grassroots voices, local and national media, activists, academic reports, and official government or group communications. Trackers have been designed to use accessible language and bring relevant information into a centralized documents for use by activists, researchers, journalists, and other stakeholders.

Trackers are rigorously fact-checked and updated at least once per week.
